We are pleased to welcome filmmaker Koutaiba Al-Janabi to appear on a panel after the screening, together with director of Some of the Palestinians, Mamoun Hassan. Caabu's director Chris Doyle will chair the panel discussion. Some of Al-Janabi's work from the Palestinian Camps in Lebanon, 1978-1982, will also be featured.

Caabu would like to invite you to a briefing and Q&A on the Muslim Brotherhood with Alison Pargeter.

Caabu wrote to the Spectator to raise the issue of its casual use of Middle Eastern stereotypes to depict a Sunni-Shia war. Caabu feels that such stereotyping risks alienating Arab and Iranian communities further.

Caabu urges all of its members to write to their MP or visit them in Parliament for the national lobby of Parliament for Palestine.  It is vital that we maintain pressure on our MPs to keep Palestine on the agenda and call for the UK government to do more to address such issues as settlement labelling, the Gaza blockade, child detainees and settlements.
