Background on the Balfour Declaration

His Majesty’s Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a
national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate
the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done
which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish
communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any
other country.

Demand compensation from Israel for demolished Palestinian structures in Area C, say UK Parliamentarians to the Foreign Secretary

UK Parliamentarians have written to the Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, asking whether the British Government would join eight other European countries and demand compensation for UK funded Palestinian structures in Area C demolished or damaged by Israel, calling for efforts to be made to  ensure that British taxpayers’ money is properly accounted for.

In August 2017, former Labour Minister for Education and Minister for the Arts, Baroness Tessa Blackstone, Labour's current Shadow Minister for Early Years, Tracy Brabin, and former Secretary of State for Scotland, former Government Deputy Chief Whip and Liberal Democrat MP for Orkney and Shetland, Alistair Carmichael, were part of a Caabu/Medical Aid for Palestinians delegation to the West Bank. September 2017

Caabu delegations to Palestine 2017 - 2019

Since the General Election on June 8 2017, Caabu has taken two parliamentary delegations to the West Bank. The delegations have included former Labour Minister for Education and Minister for the Arts, Baroness Tessa Blackstone, Labour's current Shadow Minister for Early Years, Tracy Brabin, and former Secretary of State for Scotland, former Government Deputy Chief Whip and Liberal Democrat MP for Orkney and Shetland, Alistair Carmichael. 

David Jones MP is Caabu's new chair, Alistair Carmichael MP and Paula Sherriff MP join Caabu's board

Caabu is pleased to announce that Rt Hon David Jones MP has become Caabu's new Chair. He replaces Andy Love, who has served as Caabu's Chair for seven years. Andy Love will continue to serve on Caabu's board. Caabu is immensely grateful to Andy Love for his excellent leadership over the past seven years.
