On 6 July 2021, Caabu held an online briefing on climate change in the Middle East, an overview of regional impacts and responses with Dr. Michael Mason, Director of the Middle East Centre and Associate Professor of Geography and the Environment at the London School of Economics (LSE).
Caabu Chair Rt Hon David Jones MP has responded and written back to the Middle East Minister after he responded on 1 July 2021 to his letter to the Prime Minister Boris Johnson on 16 April 2021, asking how the UK government reconciles its two positions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) investigation into possible war crimes in Palestine - that of the UK being a "strong supporter of the ICC", and saying also that "the ICC does not have jurisdiction in this instance".
A group of cross-party parliamentarians in the UK, have written to publisher Pearson about its school text books used by GCSE students on Israel-Palestine, urging them to be impartial, academic and transparent in the significant revisions made to the text books.
