"I am sad to say that Israelis and Palestinians seem unable to resolve their differences. As a Christian, I would be delighted if they would both come to faith and learn to live together, but I am not going to hold my breath until that happens.
Israeli-Palestinian issues are quite low on my list of priorities – we have many things to do to sort out Britain, reducing taxation and cost of living, reinvigorating the economy, reducing NHS waiting lists with support from the private sector and reducing the scale of mass migration. Net Zero is destroying our economy with no impact on climate change, while India and China bring a coal fired power station online every week. Did you know that the recently passed Energy Act will allow the Government to enter your home, install a smart meter and Net Zero compliant heating system, present you with the bill and then fine (£15000) or imprison you (6 months) if you don’t or can’t pay ?
I think the new Government will have to solve a few of our own problems before worrying about the problems of any other nation. I will take advice from the people that have spent their career in the region trying to address the difficulties. As someone who has worked in the Middle East, I know that none of the Palestinians’ neighbours want to help them, even though they are fellow Muslims.
I hope you’ll vote for me, but if the Palestinian issue is the deciding factor, then I’ll have to do without your vote!"
