"Thank you for your letter about Palestine and Israel. We are all deeply concerned by the horrific loss of life and the continued destruction in Gaza.
I’m writing to confirm that Green Party policy is that an immediate ceasefire is necessary, that arms sales to Israel from the UK should stop, all hostages should be released and that the Palestine territories should be a separate state, recognised and supported by the UK. I very much agree with my party’s policies.
I think I am right in saying that no other UK political party has an unambiguous commitment to an independent Palestinian state."
