European politicians urge Biden to work with Europe to promote Israel-Palestine peace based on international law

A group of European Parliamentarians from national parliaments of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain and Sweden and the European Parliament have written to President-elect Joe Biden urging him to work with Europe to promote Israel-Palestine peace based on international law.

British parliamentarians urge Israeli government to stop forced evictions of Palestinians in West Bank

Four British parliamentarians, representing all major political parties in the UK, have written to the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabi Ashkenazi and the Israeli Minister of Defense, Benny Gantz, urging them to stop forced evictions of Palestinian communities in Firing Zone 918 in the Masafer Yatta region of the South Hebron Hills.

On 20 October 2020, the Britain-Palestine All Party Parliamentary Group held an online briefing on the US Presidential Elections, Biden and the Democrats, in relation to Palestine with Lara Friedman, President of the Foundation for Middle East Peace (FMEP) and Zaha Hassan, human rights lawyer and visiting fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. This was a great opportunity for British parliamentarians to hear about the view from Washington on what could be expected from a Biden Administration (and the new Congress) on Palestine, in the run up to the US elections.
