Andy was elected as the Labour and Co-operative Party MP for Edmonton from 1997 to 2015. He also served as a Parliamentary Private Secretary under the last Government. Andy has shown a keen interest in the Middle East since his election in 1997, and was involved in a number of All Party Parliamentary Groups related to the region. He was re-elected as the Chair of the APPG on Lebanon in 2010 and was also a member of the APPG on Qatar. He has visited Lebanon, Jordan and the West Bank on previous Caabu Parliamentary visits. Most recently, Andy Love was part of a delegation to Jordan in November 2014 which included current Caabu Chair David Jones MP and former Caabu Chair and Board Member Crispin Blunt MP.
Andy served as Caabu's Chair for nearly 7 years, from November 2010 to October 2017.
