Over 60 British Parliamentarians urge UK Government to take action over Gaza's worsening humanitarian emergency

61 British parliamentarians have written to joint Foreign Office and Department for International Development Minister responsible for the Middle East, Alistair Burt MP, urging the UK Government to take action over Gaza's worsening humanitarian emergency.

Alistair Burt responded top the letter, confirming that the UK Government is pledging £1.9 million to UNOCHA Gaza's funding appeal delivered through UNICEF which would "support critical water, sanitation and hygeine needs identified by the appeal".

Chair of Labour Friends of Israel (LFI), Joan Ryan MP responded to the letter from over 60 parliamentarians on 19 October 2017. Chair of the Britain-Palestine All Party Parliamentary Group, Richard Burden MP responded to her letter on 20 October 2017.
