Arab League
Sir, Now that the sovereign states of the Arab League have indicated their objectives for a Middle East peace in fairly precise terms, is it not timely for Israel to do the same? A start might be for the Israelis to indicate what they consider should be the boundary of the State of Israel. As for nearly every other state in the World, it should be defined as a continuous line rather than in terms of a vaguely specified area minus the disparate bantustans on offer to the Palestinians. It would be an improvement on the current Sharon plan, which appears to be to settle as much Arab land as possible and to wipe out any Palestinians who object to the increasing occupation of their land.
