Settlement Wine -Observer

Jeremy Bowen (Me and my wine 10 February 2002) cites various wines as Israeli whereas Yarden and Gamla are grown on the Occupied Syrian Golan Heights in illegal Israeli settlements. (Plenty of other wines are mislabelled Israeli as well including wines from the West Bank such as Givon red. - part of original letter not published) Personally I have always liked the wines from Palestinian monastery of Cremisan near Bethlehem.
