British-Arab relationship deteriorating

 

Chris Doyle, the CAABU Director, is quoted in the Financial Times.

He emphasised the damage to the relationship between Britain and the Arab World that the crises in Lebanon, Palestine and Iraq had done.

 "The British were seen as having a deep-rooted relationship with the Arab world," says Chris Doyle, director of the Council for Arab-British Understanding. Recent events, he says, have damaged that special relationship.
