Ginny Hill is a freelance journalist and filmmaker, writing and broadcasting on the Middle East and the Horn of Africa. She has reported and produced news and current affairs from Djibouti, Gaza, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Somaliland and Yemen for the BBC, Channel 4 News, ITV and al-Jazeera English. Her articles have appeared in Slate, Guardian Unlimited, The Economist, Open Democracy, Foreign Policy, the Independent and Jane’s Islamic Affairs Analysis. Ginny is the author of Yemen: Fear of Failure, a Chatham House briefing paper. Her work on Yemen is supported by the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting.
