Paula Sherriff MP

Paula Sherriff was elected as the MP for Dewsbury in May 2015. In October 2016, Paula was appointed as Shadow Women and Equalities Minister. For nearly a decade, Paula worked for the Police in a Victim Support role. In this role she received a Judge’s commendation for work she undertook supporting victims of sexual abuse. Before entering Parliament, Paula joined the National Health Service (NHS), working in a front line role in Community Healthcare provision. 

Paula was part of a Caabu parliamentary delegation to Palestine in September 2015
